During the Indo-China border dispute, there was a shortage of workers, then 230 workers were brought from Uttarakhand overnight. After reaching Roorkee by train, these laborers were kept quarantined for seven days. On Tuesday, these workers were transported by 11 roadways buses to Joshimath and Mana along the China border. Due to the Corona lockdown, workers from all over the state had fled their homes. Road and other construction work are being done by the Border Road Organization (BRO) on the China border. When the India-China border dispute increased, the BRO also planned to expedite construction.
Under this, the biggest shortage of workers came. The BRO called workers from Jharkhand to remove this shortage. The spirit of patriotism was aroused within the workers living in fear of Corona. When they were explained the importance of China border and the construction work connected with it, all the workers were ready immediately. BRO brought these 230 laborers to Roorkee by train a week ago. All the laborers from Roorkee were brought to Lalappad in Dehradun for an institutional quarantine for seven days. After this, the BRO demanded buses from the Transport Corporation to take these goods to the border areas.
The corporation provided 11 buses on this. On Tuesday, all the laborers were brought to the border areas. When the laborers were being boarded in roadways buses, there was a sense of inner work in the country. The workers said that though he was safe in his house due to Corona, but construction work on the border is more important for the security of the country. So they left their children and came here. The BRO workers, who brought 230 laborers from Jharkhand for construction work, have been transported by corporation buses to Mana village adjacent to Joshimath, Badrinath, bordering China. All the laborers have reached their safety.
