New Delhi: The number of corona infects in the country is increasing day by day. According to the update released by the Health Ministry on Thursday, the total number of patients in the country has gone up to 4 lakh 73 thousand. Out of this, 14894 people have died, while more than 2 lakh 71 thousand have been recovered. The number of active cases in the country is more than 1 lakh 86 thousand.
Within the last 24 hours, 16 thousand 922 new cases of corona have been registered in the country and 418 people have died. According to ICMR data, 75 lakh 60 thousand 782 tests have been done in the country so far. Within the last 24 hours, 2 lakh 7 thousand 871 checks have been done. In Maharashtra, 1 lakh 42 thousand 900 cases of corona have been registered, in which 6739 people have died and more than 73 thousand people have been recovered. The number of active cases in Maharashtra is more than 62 thousand. The number of corona patients in Delhi is more than 70 thousand, in which 2365 people have lost their lives. The number of active cases is more than 26 thousand.
The total corona patients in Tamil Nadu is more than 67 thousand, in which 866 people have died, while more than 37 thousand patients have been cured. Currently, the number of active cases is more than 28 thousand. The total number of patients in Gujarat is about 29 thousand, out of which 1735 people have lost their lives. There are only 6120 active cases.
