Today's daily positivity rate is 19.59 percent.

According to government data released today, the overall number of active COVID-19 cases in India has risen to 22,02,472 (5.46%). The country's total dead toll today stands at 4,91,700. The first death from the COVID epidemic was recorded in India in March 2020.

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) reports that 72,21,66,248 samples have been tested for COVID-19 as of January 25. On Wednesday, 14,62,261 of these samples were tested.
