New Delhi: Corona cases in India are increasing rapidly. After registering 86,821 new cases of corona in the last 24 hours in the country, the total number of infected people in the country has crossed 63 lakh on Thursday, while 52,73,201 people have so far recovered from the pandemic.

According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Thursday, the recovery rate of patients is 83.53 percent. According to the data, the total number of infected people in the country has increased to 63,12,584.

The number of dead has increased to 98,678 in the last 24 hours after infection and 1,181 deaths. According to statistics, 9,40,705 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals in the country, which is 14.90 percent of the total cases. The death rate due to Covid-19 has come down to 1.56 percent.

The cases of corona infection in India reached 20 lakh on August 7, while on 23 August, it reached 30 lakh and on September 5, it reached 40 lakh. On 16 September, the number of infected people reached 50 lakhs, while on 28 September, the total cases crossed 6 million.

According to the ICMR, a total of 7,56,19,781 corona samples have been tested across the country so far. Of these, only 14,23,052 samples were tested on Wednesday.
