New Delhi: The deadly coronavirus is wreaking havoc all around the globe. The number of people infected with this virus is increasing day by day. The number of people infected with this virus in the country has crossed 2.5 million. According to covid19india.org data, there have been 25,25,222 reported cases of corona in the country so far, of which 18,07,556 people have recovered. However, 49,134 people have lost their lives. There are 6,68044 active cases in the country.

According to data released by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 2,76,94,416 samples were tested for corona across the country by 13 August 2020. Of these, 8,48,728 samples were tested on Thursday, the highest number of samples tested in a day so far.

Talking about the recovery rate, according to the data released by the central government two days ago, 56,383 people recovered on Wednesday by beating the corona epidemic. According to the data, the average recovery rate from corona in the country has exceeded 70 percent. Maximum 7 lakh 33 thousand 449 samples were tested in one day across the country.
