Bengaluru Violence: Shahjeb arrested for rewarding 51 lakh for beheading MLA's nephew

Bengaluru: Shahjeb Rizvi, who put a bounty of Rs 51 lakh on the nephew of Bengaluru MLA, has been taken into custody by the Meerut Police on Friday. On the other hand, the National Scheduled Castes Commission has also clamped down on the accused. The commission has ordered the Meerut SSP to increase the total fourteen sections of the IPC and SC-ST Act.

Shahjeb Rizvi, a resident of Rasulpur village in Phalavada police station area, on Thursday said on the statement of a close friend of the Bangalore MLA that this he hurt the people of the Muslim community. It was announced that the person who will bring the head of the person who is abusing will be given a cash reward of Rs 51 lakh. In this case, the police had filed a case against the accused under sections 153-A and 505 (2) of the IPC.

An organization named Seva Nyaya Utthan has written a letter to the National Scheduled Caste Commission in this case. In this letter, it has been said that very light currents have been imposed on Shahzeb Rizvi. Taking cognizance of the letter of the institution, Arun Khanna, assistant director of the commission, has written to the Meerut SSP to raise fourteen clauses. According to Khanna, the person on whom the prize money is placed belongs to the scheduled caste. Therefore, the Commission has taken the case seriously.
