New Delhi: Corona infection cases in India are increasing once again. According to the Health Ministry, there have been 18,599 new cases of corona infection in the country in the last 24 hours. Also, 97 more people have lost their lives in the same period. This is the third consecutive day when more than 18 thousand cases of corona have been registered in the country. This is also the sixth consecutive day when the number of active cases in the country has seen an increase.

With this, the total number of cases in India now stands at 1,12,29,398. At the same time, the number of people who died from Corona has also been 1,57,853. The number of active cases in the country is also increasing continuously. According to an update released by the Ministry of Health on Monday morning, the number of active cases has increased to 1,88,747 in the country. The ministry has said that 14,278 people have also been discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of people recovering from Corona has now risen to 1,08,82,798. Earlier yesterday, 18,711 cases of Corona virus infection were registered.

Meanwhile, according to ICMR, a total of 22 crore 19 lakh 68 thousand 271 investigations of corona infection have been done in the country. In this, 5 lakh 37 thousand 764 tests were conducted on Sunday. Let us know that in 6 states of the country, Punjab, Karnataka, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Maharashtra, there is an increase in corona cases.
