The Northern Army Command has 34,000 Indian troops deployed in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal. There are 15,500 soldiers in the Central Army Command in Uttarakhand. 1 lakh 75 thousand 500 soldiers are present in Sikkim, Arunachal, Assam, Nagaland and Eastern Army Command in Bengal. In this way, the total number of soldiers is 225,000.
