New Delhi: Covid-19 infection is found in most of the men, but there is more awareness among women to prevent the disease. Women are also ahead in the Covid-19 vaccination. So far more than 55 lakh people have been vaccinated in the country, of which 63% are female health workers or frontline workers.

India has become the third country in the world due to the vaccination of women, where more than 5.5 million people have been vaccinated. The records of vaccinating 50 lakh people in 21 days have also been obtained. From the Co-WIN platform of the Central Government that till Sunday, 5,562,621 people have received the first dose in the country which includes 35,44,458 (63.2%) women, while 20,61,706 (36.8 men) are employees.

A part of vaccination has been added to the Arogya Setu App. Where after entering your beneficiary number you can now get a temporary certificate. It has been found out where there is a vaccination booth in your area and where many people have vaccinated, whose information can also be found on your phone.

The ongoing vaccination in the country on Covid-19 virus has crossed the 60 lakh mark on the 24th day. For the first time on Monday, more than 6 lakh people in the country are to be vaccinated in a day. 4 million people have been vaccinated in 26 days in the US and 46 days in the UK.
