New Delhi: US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) Chief David Marchick has said ahead of his visit to India that India is the "powerhouse of the vaccine." He has said that the US's work with India in manufacturing the corona vaccine is saving lives. DFC is the U.S. Development Bank, which invests in developing countries all over the world. State that a high powered delegation led by DFC Chief Operating Officer Marchick will visit India from October 24 to 26.

David Marchick further said that India is the most important and largest partner for DFC's investment of more than $2.3 billion. He said in his interview that, 'We have ambitious plans. We are extremely excited to work with India to advance economic growth and strengthen US-India relations.' The chief operating officer of the DFC is currently visiting South Africa from where he is scheduled to visit India.

In response to a question, David Marchick said that usually, DFC serves to improve people's lives. Our work with India on vaccine manufacturing is saving lives. He said India is the powerhouse of the vaccine. He has a lot of innovative and creative companies in this field. They are producing a large number of vaccines. India is definitely an important part of tackling the epidemic. David Marchick said India's target of one billion vaccinations is extraordinary.
