External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said, an attempt is being made to find out the details ahead of the incident. "Our mission is to secure the early release and repatriation of Indian nationals, which the Iranian government is in touch with. "The crew members of Stana Impero include 18 Indians, five Russian, Latvian and Filipino nationals," the news agency IRNA quoted the statement of Allahmorad Afipor, director general of ship and maritime affairs of Hormuz province. The captain is an Indian, but the tanker has a British flag.
