Jammu: To review the security situation after the surgical strikes on terror launch pads in PoK, it is likely that Army Chief General Singh will visit Army's Northern Command in Jammu and Kashmir today.

According to the defence sources, “General Dalbir Singh is expected to arrive at the Northern Command headquarters in Udhampur on Saturday morning and will leave in late afternoon”.

"GOC-in-C of Northern Command and the three corps commanders of 14, 15 and 16 will be present during the briefing session," the sources added.

It is expected that the Chief will review security and border situation in J&K as also along border line after the surgical strikes.
