Indian middle-order batsman Kedar Jadhav may have reached the final stage of his career, but the 36-year-old is still leaving no stone unturned to enjoy every minute on the field. Kedar Jadhav is soon set to return to the field to represent Sunrisers Hyderabad in the second leg of the 14th season of the IPL. Kedar Jadhav was seen sweating profusely in the nets before the upcoming match. A video of which is also going viral on social media YouTube. "I remember when I was a child, I really wanted to play at the highest level, and now that I've played for the last 10-15 years, I leave no stone unturned to enjoy every minute on the field," says Kedar.

Jadhav was bought by SRH in a mini-auction earlier this year when he was released by CSK after a disappointing season with the bat last year. In the video, Kedar Jadhav has also released information about his thought process as he approaches the training session. According to the Pune cricketer, after every training, the only thing he worries about is whether the basics in various departments have all come true. Not only that, continuing, he says, "Every day my only check is done at the end of the training session, I just ask myself, 'Have I corrected the basics between batting and fielding? ', and if that's right, I think most of the time, I get what I want.'' Jadhav has been going through a bad time with the bat in IPL for some time now. In the last two full seasons, he scored only 162 (12 innings) and 62 runs (five innings) with averages of 18 and 20.66 respectively. His strike rate also fell to less than 100 in the meantime.

He has not done well in three innings of batting for SRH amidst the first leg of the current edition so far. The right-handed batsman has so far scored just 40 runs at a strike rate of 125. Jadhav will be hoping to improve in the upcoming phase in UAE. SRH will resume its IPL 2021 campaign against Delhi Capitals in Dubai on September 22.
