New Delhi: The new price list has now been released after the subsidy to MPs and others in the canteen of Parliament was exhausted. The Lok Sabha Secretariat has released a new rate list, covering food items ranging from Rs 3 to Rs 700. The new rate list of parliamentary canteens has come into effect ahead of the budget session beginning January 29. In this session, MPs will get food items based on the new rate list.

According to the new rate list in the canteen of Parliament House, the cheapest bread will be priced at Rs 3. The most expensive thing will be the nonveg buffet lunch, which will cost Rs 700. The veg buffet lunch rate is 500, which is the most expensive in veg. Talking about old prices, first one bread was of Rs 2 and Hyderabadi chicken biryani was just Rs 65. As per the earlier rate, potato bonda at Rs 6, dosa for Rs 10, Kadhi pakoda for Rs 10.

According to the new rate list, the rate of chicken biryani, chicken cutlets, chicken fry and veg platters has been fixed at Rs 100. Chicken curry is priced at Rs 75. In addition, mutton biryani and mutton cutlets will have to pay Rs 150 and mutton curry for Rs 125. Potato Bonda, bread dumplings, curd and samosa are rated at Rs 10.
