Director General of India Meteorological Department (IMD) Mrityunjay Mohapatra has said that cold wave is expected to be very cold this time in North India. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in north and central India is expected to be below normal from December to February. IMD Director General Mrityunjay Mohapatra said that cold is expected to be more severe in North India. He said that night temperature in North India can be below normal. While the day temperature is expected to be above normal.

The country's capital, Delhi, in November this year has been the coldest in the last 10 years. According to the Meteorological Department, the average minimum temperature this time of the month of November is around 10 degree Celsius. The average minimum temperature in the month of November in Delhi is 12.9 ° C.
