New Delhi: The heatwave has started wreaking havoc across north and central India, with people yet to get relief from it, according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD). Due to this heat in the weather, people have started running air coolers and AC in their homes. According to the IMD, today some parts of north and central India may see an increase in temperature.

According to the MET Department (IMD), a cyclonic wind area continues to form over and over central Maharashtra. At the same time, the western disturbance as a cyclonic circulation forms over northwest Rajasthan and adjoining areas. During the coming 24 hours, light to moderate and heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places over many parts of northeast India. Along with this, there may be sporadic rain in parts of Karnataka, Kerala as well as some parts of Tamil Nadu.

According to the IMD, there will be strong winds during the day in Delhi for the next two days. However, the movement of these winds is also likely to bring some drop in the minimum temperature of the city. The minimum temperature in Delhi today (Saturday), March 26, will be 18 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature maybe 35 degrees Celsius.
