Three youths arrested from Haryana arrested, used to spy for Pakistan

Chandigarh: The Army's Intelligence Department and the Military Police have arrested three Pakistani spies from Hisar in Haryana from Kent area. The arrested accused have been identified as Ragib, Mehtab and Khalid. Mehtab is a resident of Muzaffarpur, while Khalid lives in Shamli in UP. The three arrested accused had come to the Cantt area a week ago. The construction of the mess building in the Cantt area is under way, for which a civil construction company hired the accused as a strongman.

Mobile phones and some photographs have been recovered from the accused. The three accused were in touch with Pakistani spies by making calls and video calls through WhatsApp. Video clips of military activities have also been recovered from the mobiles of the accused. The three accused have been taken into custody late Thursday night. Earlier on July 22, a railway employee from Amritsar in Punjab was detained on the basis of secret information received by the agencies. The arrested employee was accused of spying for Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI.

The arrested accused had provided information relating to India to the neighbouring country. But after getting input, he was arrested by the Punjab Police. The accused is being named as Ramkesh Meena, who was posted at Attari railway station. Ramkesh is a fourth class employee in the Indian Railways.
