Amritsar: The way of operating rail services and trains in Punjab has been cleared. After November 23, train service will start in the state. After talks between Punjab CM Amarinder Singh and the protesting farmers' organization, an agreement has been reached to clear the tracks and start the rail service.

It is noteworthy that in Punjab, the farmers' organizations have been agitating against the Agriculture Bill for the last one or two months, due to which the rail services are closed in the state. However, the farmers association of Punjab has agreed to start the passenger train service for 15 days only. The protesting farmers said that if the demand to withdraw the agricultural bill is not considered, then they will start the movement again. After the farmers' organization agreed to vacate all the railway tracks in Punjab from Monday, the state's CM Captain Amarinder Singh urged the central government to restore the rail services in the state.

The Railway Ministry has given information by tweeting that train services in Punjab will be restored soon. After getting permission to operate the train, the railway has started preparing. Railways said that necessary maintenance and checking work will be done before starting the train service in Punjab.
