The Indian cricket team will start the long tour of Britain with a series of two T-20 matches against Ireland from Wednesday. At this stage, England has cleared Australia 5-0 in the ODI series. Most of England's players are in rhythm. It is a tough challenge, the Indian team considered it appropriate to stay in London to prepare for the preparation and practice of the match against Ireland.

In the first practice session at Merchant's Trailer School Cricket Ground, the players were divided into three groups. With Umesh Yadav and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, all-rounder Hardik Pandya led fast bowlers whereas some others practiced fielding. In the batting opening batsman Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan did the first practice. Captain Virat Kohli and in-form KL Rahul, batted together against the spin and fast bowlers on the net. Rahul is a regular member of the T-20 team. Ajinkya Rahane's absence from one-dayers, he will be the claimant of batting at number four in the three-match ODI series against England starting July 12.

India's strongest team for the first time after South Africa tour will be seen on the field. In the T20 series against Sri Lanka in March, Kohli, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jaspreet Bumrah and Mahendra Singh Dhoni were rested. In the last eleven, Rahul's selection is considered to be almost sure, which will be a battle between Suresh Raina, Dinesh Karthik and Manish Pandey in the middle. Raina can also be used as the team's sixth bowler. In South Africa, the team used them at number three. The team will not want to keep Kartik, who is also running in a formidable form.

In fast bowling, Bumrah and Bhubaneswar will have more responsibility because Umesh Yadav has returned to the T20 team after a long time and Siddharth Kaul has not made a debut in this format. India has not played much against Ireland. Three ODIs and one T20 are played between the two teams. Ireland captain Gary Wilson, former captain William Porterfield and all-rounder Kevin O'Brien have experience playing T-20 against the Indian team.
