Uttarakhand, a major Indian tourism hotspot, is actively paving the way for a surge in tourist arrivals. The state is now poised to play host to the Tehri Acro Festival 2023, a groundbreaking event scheduled for November. This spectacular festival marks India's debut on the international aerial acrobatic stage.

The Tehri Acro Festival 2023 is a key component of the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board's (UTDB) endeavor to establish Tehri as a global hub for paragliding and position the locale as the epicenter of paragliding worldwide. Visitors can experience the thrill of paragliding amidst Tehri's scenic hills from November 24 to 28. The eagerly awaited Tehri Acro Festival will feature around 150 internationally acclaimed Indian paragliders.

Moreover, more than 35 international pilots will take part in this heart-pounding, adrenaline-fueled spectacle. The Tehri Acro Festival offers a chance for all paragliding enthusiasts to be part of this grand event.

Beyond this, the festival promises an array of exciting and daring activities, including Acro Flying, Syncro Flying, Wing Suit Flying, D-Bagging, and more.

This magnificent event guarantees an electrifying ambiance that will leave spectators spellbound. Participants will display their exceptional skills, artistic finesse, and raw strength. The primary goal of this initiative is to produce a minimum of 100 paragliding pilots in the state by the end of the year.
