Indore: The court has rejected the bail plea of a bangles seller arrested in connection with a molestation case in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. A lawyer has informed in this regard on Wednesday. Senior public prosecutor Sanjay Meena said the plea of 25-year-old bangles vendor Taslim Ali was dismissed by a court of Special Additional Judge of POCSO Court Pavas Srivastava on Tuesday.

Taslim Ali, 25, is originally from Uttar Pradesh. Taslim Ali was arrested on August 23 when a 13-year-old girl lodged a sexual assault complaint against him. A case of cheating has also been registered against Taslim Ali as he had two Aadhaar cards found with him. His introduction was different in both. A voter ID card was also found from him. Taslim Ali's name was something else in that too. The police arrested him on August 23 and sent him behind bars only on the 24th. Opposing Taslim Ali's bail in the court, police officials said he is a resident of UP. If he is granted bail, it will be difficult to investigate him.

Taslim's lawyer Ehtisham said, 'We will go to the high court for Taslim's bail. He is innocent and has been a victim of the hatred of some people.' In fact, on August 22, a case of Taslim Ali being beaten up in the Govind Nagar area of Indore came to light. It was then said that some people asked his name and thrashed him. Earlier, the case was considered to be a case of communal hatred. But the very next day, the matter was reversed when Taslim was accused of concealing and tampering with his identity. State Home Minister Narottam Mishra himself had said that he was hiding his identity. He had said that after all, what is the need for a person to have different identities?
