The most impact of corona in Madhya Pradesh is seen in Indore. The city is claiming Corona's ability to test more than 1200 samples, but a fortnightly data shows that labs in Puducherry, Ahmedabad and Indore together are not able to do more than 300 tests daily. She is only able to do one-fourth investigation contrary to the claim as the samples are not reaching them. The question is that when the capacity of the investigation has been increased, then why is the sampling not being increased.

The government has allowed eight labs in Indore, including Puducherry, Ahmedabad, to investigate the Covid-19 virus. The administration claims that now Indore has the capacity to conduct more than 1200 investigations daily. Taking advantage of this, sampling will also be increased so that each patient of Corona can be reached, but this is not seen to happen. Analyzing the data of the past fortnight shows that even though the efficiency of investigation has been increased, attention was not paid to increase sampling. Since April 17, only 4667 samples have been sent for investigation. In this too, around 1500 samples were sent only to Puducherry and Ahmedabad. If the capacity was fully utilized, more than 18 thousand samples could be tested in a fortnight.

Out of 4667 samples tested till April 17, 686 samples have been found positive it about 15%. If samples were tested at full capacity, the number of positive patients would have been higher, but it could have reduced the risk of infection. The question is also arising that when there was no increase in sampling then why was the capacity increased by allowing labs.
