Indore: The increasing cases of coronavirus are creating new records daily in the economic capital of Madhya Pradesh. Out of samples of 1995 suspected patients tested on Sunday, 379 patients have been found positive for COVID19. This is the largest figure of patients found so far in one day. The infection rate is 1.9 per cent. On Saturday, 11 patients were found infected in a test of 100 patients, which rose to 19 on Sunday.

The death toll due to Corona in Indore has reached 463 after confirmation of the death of 5 patients. Due to the increasing number of patients, in all the COVID hospitals beds have been made available. According to the medical bulletin released Sunday night, 2 lakh 52 thousand 795 suspected patients have been tested so far. Out of these, 17,161 patients were found corona infected. 11,536 patients from hospitals have gone home after recovering from coronavirus. 5162 patients are presently being treated.

In India too, corona virus cases are increasing rapidly every day. According to data released by the Health Ministry on Monday, the number of corona infections in the country has gone up to 48, 46427.  From Sunday morning to Monday morning, 92,071 new corona cases have been reported. The pace at which corona cases are growing in India is worrisome. In the last 24 hours, 1136 people across the country have lost their lives due to coronavirus.
