Indore: A big news has come from the Indore district of Madhya Pradesh. In fact, about 500 silver coins have come out of the ground during excavations here. According to the information received, the court has sentenced five persons who were themselves usurped by not handing over the coins to the government to six months rigorous imprisonment each. With the fine of Rs. 500-500 against them.

District Prosecution Officer Sanjeev Srivastava said last Thursday, "First Class Judicial Magistrate of Depalpur Rupal Gupta convicted and sentenced Sattar, Nazir, Sultan, Nasir and Devkaran under relevant provisions of the Dafina Act in the case.'' At the same time, he added, "The five criminals had gone to a man's house in Gautampura area in 2014 to dig a pit for toilet construction and during excavation, they found a clay pot full of about 500 silver coins buried in the ground.''

Srivastava further said, "The criminals did not report the huge money to any administration official and secretly distributed the silver coins among themselves. As soon as they came to know about this, the police registered an FIR and recovered about 500 silver coins from their possession.'' As per the information received, a pot full of Mughal carpet silver coins emerged during the excavation of the foundation for the construction of a house at Saidapur in Ganjmoradabad, Unnao. A total of 96 coins were distributed among themselves by six brothers and then the SDM was directed to deposit the coins in the government warehouse. Now all the brothers have deposited the coins.
