Indore: Amidst the corona crisis, a number of shocking cases have been reported from the country day in and day out, in which another shocking case has come to light in which a couple of residents of Kalani Nagar in Indore jumped into the canal of the river Narmada and died. The bodies of the two were found in a canal near Barwah in Khargone city. Police are yet to ascertain the cause of the suicide. The love birds, who came 62 kilometers away from Indore, got off the bike and tied their hands first, and jumped into the canal.

The same case is said to be around 8 pm on Friday. On Saturday morning, when the body was spotted in the Aquaduct canal between Barwah-Sanawad, the men handed over the letter to the police. The bike was parked on the highway in which masks, mobiles, and other belongings were found. However, the FSL team from Khandwa could not reach the spot till 11 am. According to local police, the bodies are being fished out only after the FSL team arrives on the spot.

According to police, the deceased man Hemant Chauhan belongs to Village Gambhir in Harda district. He works as a mechanic in Indore. The man's family had also complained about his disappearance at Aerodrome police station in Indore. On the other hand, the body of the girl could not be identified. The family members of the person have reached the spot.
