Moscow: There was a stir after receiving information about a bomb in a chartered plane going from Moscow to Goa. The incident took place on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday (January 10). Immediately after that the emergency landing of the plane was done in Jamnagar and the security squad took charge. As per reports, the investigation inside the aircraft has now been completed. Nothing suspicious was found. The information about the bomb was only a rumor. According to the airport director, the flight can leave for Goa between 10:30 am and 11 am today.

In fact, Goa ATC received a mail, in which it was said that there was a bomb in the aircraft. After this, the flight made an emergency landing in Jamnagar. All the passengers were evacuated and the aircraft was thoroughly checked. The bomb disposal squad took charge at Jamnagar airport. The aircraft is in isolation and further investigation is underway. All 244 passengers on board the Moscow-Goa chartered flight landed safely at the airport around 9.49 pm, the director of Jamnagar airport said. The same NSG commandos have also left for the airport.
Jamnagar Collector Saurabh Parghi said security agencies have cordoned off the airport for nine hours. The aircraft and passengers have been thoroughly screened. The passenger's baggage is being searched and details are being verified. Â Â
