Lucknow: Maulana Arshad Madani, head of the country's largest Muslim organization Jamiat-Ulema-e-Hind, has said in the national executive meeting that co-education is taking Muslim girls towards 'renouncing Islam'. To stop this, there is a need to open more educational institutions. Maulana Arshad Madani has said in the Jamiat meeting, 'A conspiracy has been started against the Muslims as part of the whole plan. Muslim girls are being targeted under this conspiracy.'

He has also said that if no effective measures are taken immediately to stop this greed and 'apostasy', then the situation will become even more incendiary in the coming days. Due to the co-education system, greed and conspiracy to leave Islam are being encouraged. That's why they are opposing it. Maulana Madani has further said that although the media has misrepresented his point of view and shown that Maulana Madani is against girls' education, he is against co-education (boys and girls studying together). Madani also said that he is not against the education of girls, but supports it.

Maulana Madani has said 'Whatever we can do, we have to do now for the progress and educational development of the country. After the country's independence, we as a nation have reached a very important point in history.' Advocating separate schools for boys and girls, Maulana Madani has said, 'On the one hand, we are getting entangled in many problems. On the other hand, the way of economic, social, political, and educational development is also getting closed for us. If we have to foil the conspiracies against us, we will have to start separate educational institutions for our boys and girls.'
