Jalore: In Jalore district of Rajasthan, these days farmers are showing more interest in organic farming by excluding traditional farming. With the success of organic farming started from Jalore with the initiative of a young farmer, farmers from other districts, including Sirohi, Jodhpur, Barmer, Jaisalmer, among others, have started organic farming in addition to the district.

It may be mentioned that now more than 3000 farmers have started organic farming in their fields, inspired by Jalore farmers. This has led to a significant profit for farmers in districts other than Jalore today. Jalore district has been in the dark zone for a long time and has a huge water level. Farmers are showing more interest in low-water organic farming.

That is why Yogesh Joshi, a young and progressive farmer from Sanchor Tehsil of Jalore district, started organic farming in the district and then the farmers in the district produce spices like cumin, variali, coriander, methi, kalonji. In multigrain, Kinova, Chia Seed and Bajra are also benefiting a lot. Not only that, after organic farming in Jalore, these crops are also reaching Japan. Special teams from Japan are also reaching Jalore from time to time to get information on farming.
