New Delhi: International shooter Vartika Singh has accused Union Minister and BJP leader Smriti Irani and her colleagues of corruption. Shooter Vartika has filed a complaint in the MP-MLA court against Smriti Irani, her private secretary Vijay Gupta and co-accused Dr Rajnish Singh, accusing her of seeking Rs 25 lakh in the name of making it a member of the Central Commission for Women.

International shooter Vartika, a resident of Pratapgarh district, alleges that Smriti Irani along with her closed ones issued a fake letter of the post of Central Commission for Women member. Earlier, the international shooter was misled by big things, then there was a demand of Rs 25 lakh by saying that Vartika had a good profile as a one crore rate of position.

Vartika alleges that the closed ones of Smriti Irani had loose-talked to Vartika on the social site, protesting against the demand for loose talk and money, and warned her to expose corruption. This was followed by Vijay Gupta, a close and co-accused of Smriti Irani, who had lodged a complaint against Vartika at the Mofikhana police station.  The case will be heard on January 2.
