Abu Dhabi: Two times IPL trophy holders, Kolkata Knight Riders, may have to play the matches in the evening during this IPL. To meet this challenge, the team is currently engaged to become accustomed to the situation in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Most of the matches will start at 6 pm local time. The game is bound to be affected and KKR assistant coach Abhishek Nair says that the team wants to ensure that the players are prepared for this challenge.

Recently, Nair said in a conversation with a news website, "Many of our matches are in the evening. So we are keeping this in mind that the matches will start here at 6 o'clock. We have to play in the twilight which is very difficult in cricket because due to the shadows you see the ball differently". Apart from this, he said, "So we are trying to get accustomed to both the circumstances afternoon and evening matches. We know that the temperature here is very high which goes from 40 to 44 degrees".

"The ball moves slightly due to the wind moving in the open ground in the evening and in this case, the players will have to adjust to these situations". Apart from this, Nair also said, "We are getting accustomed to the circumstances. It is very different. Not many players have played here before. So it is important for them to know how to adapt and play at different times of the day".
