Ayodhya: After years of waiting, the magnificent Ram Temple is going to be built in Ayodhya and many people, including President Ramanath Kovind, are making generous donations for the same. Now Mohd. Iqbal has also announced the donation for the construction of Ram Mandir. Iqbal's father Hashim Ansari has been a supporter of the Babri Masjid. Iqbal has also been a party to the Babri Masjid in the court.

However, with the decision of the country's largest court on November 9, 2019, Iqbal is showing harmony leaving behind the controversy. In this episode, he has announced a donation on the occasion of the launch of the fund dedication campaign for the construction of Ram Mandir, and he has said, "People should not be entangled in religious disputes."

Iqbal further said that the dispute is over and now the magnificent temple of Sriram is being built, everyone should contribute to the construction of this temple. Giving donations reduces each other's problems and gives merit. This is not the first time when Iqbal has spoken in favour of the temple. His father, Hashim Ansari, has also been in favour of ending the Temple Masjid dispute with mutual consent.
