MOSCOW,: Russia and Iran are working on documents to establish a new level of cooperation, said the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, while meeting with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir Abdollahian in Moscow.

According to ussian Times report,  Lavrov said, "We are preparing new documents that are aimed to correct the new qualities of our collaboration."  Despite external factors, the trade exchange between Russia and Iran is gradually increasing, surpassing USD 4 billion, said Lavrov. "It's encouraging that, despite all of the well-known factors, our trade turnover continues to rise at an unprecedented rate. It climbed by over 80 percent last year, surpassing USD 4 billion "According to Lavrov.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian will meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to discuss bilateral cooperation and the status of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action negotiations (JCPOA).

He will meet with Russian Federation authorities to discuss bilateral matters as well as the status of the JCPOA negotiations.
