Hyderabad: The Chief Minister held a meeting with representatives of the district on Friday at Pragati Bhavan.  Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao decided.

Chandrashekhar Rao said the construction of Nellikallu and other projects in Dorkonda, Nagarjuna Sagar, Mungodu, Kodad and Hujurnagar constituencies in the East Nalgonda district will be completed soon.

At this meeting, it was decided to schedule the foundation stone for all these lift projects in Nellikallu. According to the information, the foundation stone for all these lift projects will be laid on February 10 at 12:30 pm.

The meeting was attended by Legislative Council Chairman Gupta Sukhender Reddy, Energy Minister Jagadish Reddy, all MLAs, Legislative Council members, District Council Chairperson and other public representatives. The meeting was discussed on the irrigation policy of Nalgonda district.

Cm KDS said 8 and 9 other projects will be constructed along with Nellikallu at a cost of 3,000 crore to irrigate the remaining ayakat on the edge of various projects in the district.
