Leh: On the occasion of International Yoga Day, ITBP jawans performed yoga and pranayama at an altitude of 18 thousand feet in Ladakh. A team of ITBP jawans practiced yoga on the snow-covered white earth in Ladakh on the occasion of International Yoga Day. In Ladakh, the temperature is below zero degree in the place where these soldiers did yoga. The yoga practice of the jawans on the white sheet of snow seemed very captivating.

Significantly, there has been a violent clash between the Army of India and China in Ladakh itself recently. India's border with China is in Ladakh itself. ITBP personnel monitor this border. Today on the occasion of Yoga Day, ITBP jawans did yoga in Ladakh by putting black spectacles between the white sheets of snow. In Sikkim also, ITBP soldiers did yoga and pranayam. Sikkim has relatively less snow than Ladakh in the pictures. But the view here looks very beautiful. ITBP jawans did yoga under blue sky and clouds.

Earlier, PM Narendra Modi has also given a message of patience and action to the country and the world on the occasion of International Yoga Day. PM Modi said that the seeker of yoga never loses patience in crisis. He said that yoga only means samvatam yoga. That is, the name of compatibility-adversity, success-failure, happiness-crisis, staying the same in every situation, remaining steadfast is the sum. Speaking of yoga in the Gita, Lord Krishna has said- 'Yoga: Karmasu Kaushalam', that is, the skill of Karma is Yoga.
