After a long wait of 17 years, the proposal of Madrasa Board in Rajasthan has now got legal approval. The Madrasa Board Act has been passed in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. Earlier, for the past 17 years, the Madrasa Board was running with just an administrative directive.

Around 21 madrasas of Rajasthan have 2 lakh students, whereas here six and a half thousand madrasa para teachers are giving their services. Rajasthan's Minority Affairs Minister Saleh Mohammad said that the priority of the CM is to put more emphasis on education. Hitec education should be imparted in madrasas to improve the basic training structure in madrasas. The building of madrasas should be improved. There should be grounds for play and library for reading. For the examinations of the 10th and 12th boards, a separate board of madrasas should be made, so that better training is given there. When this Act was passed in the Assembly on Monday, for the first time in the last 17, the existence of the Madrasa Board has marked a firm seal.

It should be noted that in the third meeting of the fifth session of the 15th assembly, a record 13 bills were passed by voice vote in 24 hours on Monday. Some of these bills were consulted, while most were passed without discussion. There was a lot of ruckus on this. The action of the House had to be postponed four times, as the first 8 Bills were included in the agenda of the Legislative Assembly. Before the session, 5 more Bills including the Rajasthan Madrasa Board Bill, 2020 were included in the proceedings of the House in the meeting of the Working Advisory Committee.
