Jaipur: Princess Diya Kumari has been in the news since yesterday amid the ongoing controversy over the Taj Mahal. In fact, the Taj Mahal, which was being described as the 'Tejo Mahalaya Mahadev Temple' till now, has been described by Princess Diya Singh as her own palace. Princess Diya Singh belongs to the Jaipur royal family, who claim that the Taj Mahal was her family's palace in the past, the documents of which are still with them today.

Diya Singh's claim gained momentum because the matter related to the Taj Mahal is currently sub-judice in the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court. The hearing is scheduled for May 12. In fact, BJP leader Dr Rajnish Singh has filed a petition in court. It said that there are 22 rooms of the Taj Mahal, which have been closed for quite some time. He demands that it should be opened and surveyed by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). The petitioner, Rajnish Singh, said that the Taj Mahal may have statues and inscriptions of Hindu gods and goddesses. which can shed light on its claim to be a temple.

The Taj Mahal case was just in the High Court that Princess Diya Kumari created a sensation by making a big claim. Princess Diya Kumari says that the Taj Mahal was a palace of the former royal family of Jaipur, which was occupied by the Mughal emperor Shahjahan. Diya Kumari further said that at that time it was the rule of the Mughals, so the royal family could not resist it much. The princess went so far as to believe that her trust has Pothikhana, where documents related to it are kept. If needed, he is also ready to show these documents in the court.
