Heavy rains are continuing in many areas of Rajasthan, and the meteorological department has issued a 'Red Alert' of extremely heavy rains in different districts in one day, including Ajmer, Sirohi, Jalore and Pali and Jodhpur.

The Meteorological Department has declared 'Red Alert' of extremely heavy rain in the cities of Ajmer, Sirohi, Jalore, Pali and Jodhpur in one day. Similarly, Orange alerts have been issued for many cities of the state. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be rain in some places in these districts and torrential rain in some areas. The Meteorological Department has given thunderstorms in Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Kota, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sawaimadhopur, Sikar, Tonk and Udaipur districts. With this, moderate to heavy rain is expected. Also, there is a possibility of heavy rains in some places and heavy rains in some areas.

With this, the weather department believes that the highest 250 mm rain in one day has been recorded in Jamwaramgarh near Jaipur. Apart from this, 18 cm in Jaipur, 15 cm in Amer, one centimeter in Malpura of Tonk, 13 cm in Bassi, 11 in Pisangan in Ajmer, 10 cm in Srimadhopur were recorded. Kota, Jodhpur, Pali, Nagaur and Sawai Madhopur and many areas of Bharatpur have also received good rains.  Rajasthan has been raining continuously for the last several days. Especially in Jaipur, due to the rain, Janjean has become busy. Waterlogging has been a problem in the city. Vehicles have been submerged in water due to the increase in water level in the interior parts of the city. At the same time, at around 10 am on Thursday, the rain had come at its best and remained like a pink city. At many places in the district, the water level had started rising so much that cars started sinking. On seeing the condition, things started getting worse from bad to worse. Whatever was there stayed there. The yatra was completely disrupted and people were stranded in water.
