Lucknow: Special investigation team has received the much-awaited report of the Central Forensic Science Lab in Hyderabad in the Jal Nigam recruitment scam under Samajwadi Party rule. Based on the report, analysis of the results data has started. The facts of recruitment bypassing the rules have already been revealed. It is being said that scientific evidence is being found for the result of the disturbances. Sources say that the SIT may soon file a charge sheet against the accused, including former minister Azam Khan.

It has been learned that there were allegations of irregularities in the recruitment of 1300 posts during SP rule in Jal Nigam. The government handed over the investigation to the case. In the initial investigation, it was revealed that the rules were admitted bypassing the rules. On the government's order, SIT in April 2018, SIT, besides former minister Azam Khan, the then MD of Jal Nigam PK Asadani, former secretary of Municipal Development Department SP Singh (now retired), former minister Azam's then OSD Syed Afaq Ahmed and the then An FIR was registered against Chief Engineer Anil Kumar Khare and others under embezzlement, fraud, conspiracy, concealment of evidence and Prevention of Corruption Act.

It was revealed in the investigation that the recruitments were made bypassing the rules in the Jal Nigam while the accused SP Singh was posted as the Secretary of the Municipal Development Department. Azam Khan was then the Minister of Urban Development and the President of Jalanigam. It is also being said that the candidates had made many serious allegations of irregularity, including incorrect evaluation of letters. Where the officers of the institution conducting the examination were also questioned and the SIT took the result's CD and some other data and sent it to the Forensic Science Lab for investigation. Investigation report was sought on several points. The SIT also had to wait a long time to get the FSL report.
