Jammu, Police arrested four gamblers on tuesday and over Rs 11,000 seized from their possession.
According to the police,“Vijay Kumar, Taj Krishan, Ashu Bhat and Karnail Singh were arrested and playing cards and stake money of Rs 11,780 was seized from their possession”.
The convicts were booked under relevant provisions of the gambling act.
Gambling involves risking something of value on an uncertain event in hopes of winning something of greater value.
Gamblers can have a problem without being totally out of control.
