Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday celebrated Diwali at an orphanage located in the RS Pura Sector in Jammu and stressed out on the call for for social incorporation and rehabilitation of orphans.
Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti said Diwali would carry eternal happiness and peace to the people of the state, an official presenter said.
Mufti acts together with children and exchanged sweets. She also gets pleasure from the Bhajans sung by the children.
interacting with the inmates, the Jammu and Kashmir chief minister said though the Government was working for the welfare of orphans and the on the breadline, but it is the responsibility of all citizens to play a role towards proper rehabilitation and social integration of these victims of destiny.
CM Mehbooba Mufti appealed to all sections to give over a part of their mental, material or intellectual resources in bringing a large section of such social context fragmented people into the mainstream of the society.
