Srinagar: A 22-year-old man was injured after being hit by a landmine in Bagayaldara, a village near the Line of Control in the Gulpur sector of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir, which was rushed to the district hospital by relatives. The injured young man is undergoing treatment. According to the information received, the landmines are laid on the Line of Control to prevent infiltration from the Pakistan side by the Indian Army and the landmines flow from one place to another in the strong rainwater. For this reason, such incidents often happen.

Even before this, many such incidents have happened. While giving information about the incident, the family said that the place where the accident took place is near the Line of Control and the youth went to the forest to get grass (pattar) for their goats around 10 o'clock in the morning. Then the young man's foot fell on the landmine and it happened.
