Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police has claimed that the activities of the dismissed DSP Devinder Singh were being monitored for a few days. Police was also tracking the mobile of Devinder Singh. Authorities claim that he was in contact with these terrorists for several weeks. On the condition of anonymity, an official has said that 'We suspected that Devinder was engaged in some unfair work. Later, during the raid on his house, our suspicions were confirmed.

While giving information to the media, the official said that "five grenades and three AK-47 rifles were found in the raid at her house in the posh enclave of Indira Nagar." It includes paperwork and details of his investment and property, which is more than the salary paid to the Deputy Superintendent. Along with this, clues have also been found about Davinder's association with drug mafias.
