Srinagar: Police and army in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district have achieved major breakthrough in a joint operation on Saturday. Security forces have seized arms, ammunition and cash from three suspected terrorists. According to the information, the police and the army were informed that three suspects were roaming in the city's Gurdan area, as soon as the intel was received, the police and the army started a joint search operation and started searching for the blockade.
The army and police have found these three suspected terrorists from a hideout. The three terrorists are being described as residents of Pulwama and Shopian in the Kashmir valley. Security forces have seized two AK-56 rifles, 6 AK magazines, 180 rounds of bullets, two pistols, 3 pistol magazines, 30 pistols, four hand grenades and nearly one lakh cash from their possession.
According to information received by the sources, the three terrorists were armed with weapons and were moving towards Rajouri and were in a state of terror. Sources said, the three terrorists were in a position to target army and police hideouts in Rajouri, but before that they were arrested by security forces. The three are being questioned in the case.
