Srinagar: Security forces have achieved great success in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces have killed a Pakistani terrorist belonging to the terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed-JeM. Kashmir Zone Police IGP Vijay Kumar has informed in this regard.

 

 

He said Lamboo, a Pakistani terrorist belonging to the banned terror group JeM, was killed in today's encounter. The other terrorist is being identified. IGP Kashmir has congratulated the Army and Avantipur police for the operation. According to sources, Lamboo was in touch with Jaish founder Masood Azhar. Came to Kashmir from Lamboo International Border in 2018. His second code name was Saifullah. Jaish gives code to its most important commanders.

Earlier, police had informed that security forces launched a search operation in Namibian and Marsar forest areas and Dachigam areas on Saturday morning after receiving information about the presence of terrorists. He said the search team was fired upon by the militants after which the encounter started. Security forces also retaliated, killing two militants.
