Jammu: Lockdown is in force throughout the country due to Coronavirus. In order to make the lockdown successful, the former sarpanch of Chatta village, about 15 km from Jammu, along with local women, has completely closed the road leading to the village. Neither any outsider is allowed to go to the village and neither the villagers have the freedom to go outside.

Former sarpanch Gurmeet Kaur and the women who blocked the village along with him say that if people want to be saved from Corona infection then we have to take such tough steps. This is a very deadly disease and we have to take some precautions to prevent it. Our government is also doing so well, everyone should follow their instructions.

The women further said that it becomes our responsibility to control the corona. We have to accept this challenge. In our Jammu and Kashmir, this corona infection is increasing day by day. But we have to try to stop it. If we follow social distancing, then only we can avoid this disease. If this disease happened to one, then from one to hundred and then from hundred to thousand, by doing so, this disease can spread to Lakoh people further.
