We had earlier reported that actor Jayam Ravi is all set to collaborate with 'Bhooloham' director Kalyan Krishnan for a racy thriller, which will be produced by Screen Scene Studios. Now, the latest buzz is that Jayam Ravi is all set to begin shooting for the film in July.
While the initial plan was to begin shooting for the film after completing the next schedule of Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan'. But with director Mani Ratnam planning to resume 'Ponniyin Selvan' only when the COVID19 cases come down, Jayam Ravi seems to have decided to begin his film Kalyan Krishnan before that. The film is expected to be a racy thriller filled with action and twists.
Meanwhile, Jayam Ravi also has the Janaganamana with director Ahmed. Interestingly, he was expected to start the work for 'Thani Oruvan 2' with his brother Mohan Raja, has changed his decisions since the director got busy with the Telugu remake of Mohan Lal's Malayalam film 'Lucifer' with Chiranjeevi.

The romantic drama film Jayam (2003), directed by his elder brother Mohan Raja and produced by his father. The success of the film prompted the title to become a prefix to his stage name, and he continued to collaborate with his brother for other films including M. Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi (2004), Unakkum Enakkum (2006), Santhosh Subramaniam (2008), Thillalangadi (2010) and Thani Oruvan (2015).
