Singer Silajit Majumdar and actress Sreelekha Mitra are set to share the screen for the first time in Angshuman Banerjee’s erotic thriller ‘12 seconds’. The film talks about how an insignificant ’12 seconds’ impact the life of a man. According to the director, the story takes one into a world where reality and dreams come together. A blend of surrealism and magic realism will give a new dimension to the film. There is also an interesting song in the film written by Saikat Ghosh and composed by Rudra Sarkar.

“It was great fun working in the film. I found the storyline interesting that attracted me initially. I have always enjoyed doing experimental roles. This was no different. Apart from this, I have also enjoyed recording the bangla rap song for this film which has been penned down by Saikat and composed by Rudra,” shared Silajit.

Besides Silajit and Sreelekha, the thriller also stars Enakshi Choudhury and Arup Deb. While the story has been penned by the director himself, Suparna Ghosh Mitra has done the screenplay and cinematography by Sumanjit Ray, edit by Arijit Bose. Rudra Sarkar has created the background music of the movie.
