Ranchi: The country is in the wake of corona outbreaks, as well as in other states. Cases in Jharkhand have increased so fast that the state government has to impose a mini lockdown. The mini lockdown has been implemented in the province till 6 am on April 29. However, it is another matter that the administration has named it Health Safety Week as "Not lockdown". But a variety of restrictions have been imposed on the people.

The SOP issued by the state transport department during the unlock in November 2020 was implemented. Under this, the bus seat has to be sanitized before every journey. Entry to all public transport services will not be allowed without masks. The vehicle driver will have to keep the name, address and phone number of passengers travelling in cabs, autos and e-rickshaws so that contract tracing is facilitated. At the same time, municipal city buses are no longer going to ply. Even if people have to go out, they will have to use their private vehicle.

The DC reported that there are orders to keep textile, shoe and jewellery shops closed during health safety week. Industries, mining, agriculture related and construction work will continue. It was said that shops violating the guidelines issued by the government would be sealed by April 29. The DC told the Chamber of Commerce that all shops and establishments that exist will be mandatory to follow all guidelines everywhere. Strict action has been warned in case of violations.
