Ranchi:  Elephants have been wreaking havoc in several districts of Jharkhand. In the village of Brahmandiha under Bhandara police station in Ranchi-Lohardaga border area, a group of four elephants crushed and killed a farmer in a maize field.  Farmer Ramdev Mahato had gone to see his maize field after receiving information about the arrival of elephants in the village, but as soon as he reached the field, a herd of elephants broke down on Ramdev Mahato and trampled him.

On the other hand, another person from Brahmadiha village destroyed the house of Angnu Urano and the elephants destroyed all the paddy kept in the house and destroyed the house. For the past one month, a herd of elephants has been wandering in a village bordering Lohardaga, Latehar and Ranchi districts. On the other hand, forest workers are trying to protect themselves by revealing their area.

When the team from the forest department of Ranchi drove the elephant towards Lohardaga, the villagers of Lohardaga asked the forest department to drive away from the elephants, they told them to move and move on. The incident has caused a lot of resentment among the villagers. They say that the elephants are destroying their crops and their houses and the administration is not taking any action.
