Ranchi: The fire of politics, which erupted in the name of 'religion' in the Jharkhand assembly, is now ready to scorch Bihar as well. On the lines of the neighboring state, political parties in Bihar have also drawn swords over religious activities in the House. The BJP has also demanded a place for Keertan and worship in the Bihar Legislative Assembly.

Actually, this case has started from Jharkhand. The way in which a room has been allotted in the assembly for Namaz in Jharkhand, since then the main opposition BJP has opened a front in the Jharkhand assembly. The BJP has accused the government that 'the Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand has allotted room for a religious activity to a particular religion under the policy of appeasement.

In Jharkhand-Bihar, the demand to keep the legislature beyond religious activities has started gaining momentum. The BJP has opened a front against the opposition parties in both states. The party's demand is that 'if special arrangements are made in the House for a particular religion, then similar arrangements should be ensured for the rest of the religions as well.' BJP created a ruckus in the Jharkhand Assembly after allotting rooms to Muslim MLAs and Muslim employees of the House to offer Namaz. The Monsoon session of the House continues to become a ruckus. The BJP started Keertan on the premises outside the House. The BJP has demanded to allot a room in the house for worship and Keertan.
